Refund & Payment Policy — Salix Pest Control

One-Off Jobs

Payment is due upon completion of the work and receipt of your invoice.
As our services are delivered in full at the time of treatment, refunds are not typically offered once a job has been completed.
If you have concerns about the quality of our work, please contact us within 7 days so we can review and resolve the issue where appropriate.

Monthly contracts operate on a rolling basis and require 30 days’ written notice to cancel.
Invoices are issued monthly unless otherwise agreed, and payment is due according to the terms stated on your invoice.

You may choose to pay for a 12-month service contract upfront and receive a 20% discount compared to the standard monthly rate.
This payment covers the full 12-month period of service.

If you cancel an annual plan before the end of the term:
We will recalculate the cost of the months already served at the standard monthly rate.
Any remaining balance will be refunded to you.
Example:
- Standard monthly rate: £100
- 12 months at standard rate: £1,200
- Annual upfront cost with 20% discount: £960
- If cancelled after 6 months:
- 6 months at standard rate = £600
- Refund = £960 – £600 = £360

Payment is due upon receipt of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If payment is not received within 14 days, Salix Pest Control reserves the right to charge statutory interest and late payment fees under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
- This includes 8% above the Bank of England base rate, plus a fixed late payment fee as permitted by law.
For ongoing service contracts, services may be suspended if payment remains overdue by more than 30 days.
